Operation Free Ride!
Watch for the next Operation Free
Ride!

Operation Free Ride is a program that was
created to give active duty military personnel,
returning combat veterans, wounded warriors
and their families the opportunity to ride a
horse for free!  We want them to ride a horse or
experience the special bond and friendship of
horses!
Empowering Families....one horseback ride
at a time!
About Horses4Heroes
from Horses4Heroes website:

Motivated by the tragic events of "9/11" and the
heroic acts that followed at home and abroad,
Horses4Heroes was created to say "Thank You" to the
men and women whose daily sacrifices keep us safe and
free by making it possible for their family members to ride
a horse.

The organization was founded by Allison Knott, a 16 year
old high school student at Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High
School.  Busy earning straight A's and showing her
American Paint Horse at shows from coast to coast, Allison
created Horses4Heroes to share her love of horses with the
families of the heroes in our community.

Horses4Heroes, Inc. is the leading family horseback riding
non-profit organization that enriches lives and empowers
our youth by offering able-bodied, affordable horseback
riding programs that emphasize fun and safe activities
with horses, mounted and un-mounted for all ages.
Participants learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills,
make new friends and develop a lifelong love of horses!

Through its national network of kid-friendly, family
friendly facilities, the organization serves families of all
service men and women, Veterans, First Responders and
other heroes in communities across the country.
